The RP360 UK KIT is a professional workshop ski and snowboard base P-Tex repair tool kit, which features a pistol style base gun that applies molten base repair material for the highest quality results. This is the professional kit version which includes additional tools for the repair of ski and snowboard bases, and comes with a 3 pin UK plug.

The heated wide span head with chamfered edges ensures perfect fusion between repair material and existing base by heating the base to over 200 degrees for the most permanent repair possible.

The tool comes complete with a free A4 sized Tec Matt, which is heat resistant and non stick, a 665 Scraper with Carbide blade, 10 black plus 10 clear repair rods and a metal worktable base plate.

The base incorporates a magnetic stand to ensure the head is kept away form surfaces as it gets very hot!

Please note there will already be clear repair material in your gun, as one rod is passed straight through for quality control by the manufacturer, which also removes any impurities from manufacturing.

Tips for using the RP 360 Base Repair Gun

  1. It is recommended that you work away from yourself, using the arrow on the front of the tip to guide the tool along the repair.
  2. The front of the head (where the arrow is) should remain approximately 1-2mm above the base, the rear should float lightly on the extruded material.
  3. This helps to spread the base material to the adjacent base.
  4. Most gouges are filled in just one pass.
  5. It is important to keep the head moving at all times, a stationary head can damage the base.
  6. Allow the repair to cool, then use a high quality scraper (Such as the Bahco Ski Scraper) or lightly sand, to flatten the repair down.
  7. Be sure to work with a sharp metal scraper.
  8. Be sure to work in a well ventilated space due to the fumes that P-Tex gives off.

We have a combined knowledge of over 30 years ski boot fitting.
