We have bought Breuer chair seats from you in the past and they have been great. The most recent one is a dud. The caning broke through the first time it was used. The caning is thin, dry, and brittle. I have already sent a note to customer service.

Replacement Cane Seat

Accessed your website, found the style/color, placed the order and within a few days the replacement cane seat arrived. Excellent quality in materials and workmanship. Pricing was in line with our budget! A number of years ago we purchased four seats & backs and were pleased with the product. Of course when our Granddaughter put her foot through the seat we knew where to go for a replacement seat! No issues what so ever! Very pleased with everything and if/when we need new seats or backs we will order from your company again.

Poor quality

The old seat covers lasted 20 years. The new ones I bought 3 years ago need to be replaced and they are not cheap.

Adequate replacement

The pre drilled holes for the screws were improperly drilled. I had to re-drill holes so the seat could be attached to the frame. Otherwise the new seat is fine.

Product delivered as promised. Chair replacement seat fit perfectly on the chrome frame. Looks fresh and is very sturdy. Would highly recommend this product.

A new chair in seconds!

Great alternative to replacing the entire chair for a fraction of the price.

These seats are great. Our originals had the caning fail after many years so we got Chinese replacements which fell apart really quickly. The wood frame is only 3/4" thick and the finger joints have are separating. The Italian seats are 1 1/4" thick with the finger joints much better made and fitted. I'm glad to have such quality.

Perfect Fit

Thrilled to find these replacements for my 10 year old chairs that finally broke all at the same time. Perfect fit. I knew the color would be lighter but it is not a problem. Installation was not difficult.

After finding out how expensive it would be to replace the caning on the chair bottoms, I decided to buy new ones. These arrived promptly, were very good quality, and were very easy to install. The color matched perfectly. The chairs are 40 years old and look like new.

A good source and a good replacement seat

As I recall, I bought two chairs in the late 60s or early 70s. I have replaced the seats twice having purchased them from an ad in the back of The New York Times Sunday Magazine section. Thus the rating of 4 stars re: value. i'm used to paying much less, but of course, times have changed. However, my rating overall is 5 stars. I've not yet had to replace the backs. I see no reason to get rid of these chairs as long as replacement seats and backs are available. So, Thanks, HTC.

Excellent, high-quality product

These replacement cane seats are great � have had these Breuer chairs for many years. The frames and backs are fine; only the seats have needed to be replaced every five or six years due to daily wear and tear. My husband used a power screw driver to attach the seats to the frames. These seat replacements have pre-drilled holes that make this easy enough to accomplish (and my husband is not that "handy"). I recall that there was a time when we had to replace the existing screws which were worn. It would be fabulous if the chair company would provide the screws or suggest which screws to use � don't know if they do � am very happy w/this purchase. These seat replacements look great; they are strong, sturdy, and comfortable.

A great chair!

We've had our original Breuer chairs for about 40 years. We replace the seats when a set gets worn, which is why we just ordered these. We were pleased to discover that these are from the original Italian maker, so they fit and look good on the frames.

The chair seat is of exceptional quality. I also appreciated the excellent service. However, the seat did not fit and I will be returning it. My table and chairs are over 40 years old and may be replicas and not original Breuer.

The replacement seat arrived on time and as advertised. There were holes pre-drilled on the bottom of the seat so it was easy to attach to the chair. The whole process took 10 minutes, and the chair looks like new. No complaints; would recommend!
