Hainan Huanghuali's root, 100% genuine founded and made in Hong kong or Canton 1950's. The surface of sculpture has pure natural tightly and curly grain and nuts since it came from the root, which grain and nuts appearance calle "Ghost face and eyes". It was fine carved and polished, by holding and rubbing on hand， just likes holding a soft persimmoms. This is why Huanghuali was often used as incense and its oil was made for perfume. Hainan Huanghuali is always called King of wood since earlier Ming Dynasty(1368-1644) and was top choice of Imperial Ming an Qing for making furniture and palace decoration. Due to over harvested at end of 1800's, it is an extinct luxury wood in China, and currently most Huanghuali wood are produced in Vietnam and Africa rarely, which are difference than Chinese Hainan Huanghuali wood.

据《中国树木志》记载，野生海南黄花梨产于海南岛上除万宁、陵水，五指山市以外的各市县，其中白沙、东方、昌江、乐东、三亚、海口为主要产区。它们一般生长于海拔350米以下的山坡上。名贵的海南黄花梨则主要生长在黎水地区，其中尤以昌江王下地区的海南黄花梨最为正宗。珍贵两广沿海，越南部分地区也有出产，海南产量曾几度远超其他地区。解放后，尤其是改革开放后，由于过度开采，产量大不如前。
黄花梨木色金黄而温润，心材颜色较深呈红褐色或深褐色，有屡角的质感。因为黄花梨木的木性极为稳定，不管寒暑都不变形、不开裂、不弯曲，有一定的韧性，能制作各种异形家具。
