This item was an online retailer return and does appear to have been lightly used or tried on. It does not have any stains or defects but please note the photos of fibers in the closure. Please not the little floating piece that attaches to the zipper is missing. This piece is for the dog to rest its head while in the water but the life jacket can be used just fine without it.
