The Multigrid 481 from GrassGrids is the perfect solution for Shed Bases.  

 

Our base kits consists of 12 grids together with the correct m² of genuine Terram T1000 non-woven geotextile which will help stop the intermixing of granular material into the subgrade. Kit to suit a 6' by 4' shed.  
 

The Multigrid 481 is designed to withstand loading found in domestic settings and is especially ideal for use as a base for sheds, garden rooms, log cabins and greenhouses as they provide load spreading support..  

 

The grids have a load bearing capacity of 800 tonnes/m² when filled.  

The overall dimensions for the grid are: 481mm x 481mm x 40mm  

12 x Grids will cover an area of 2.78m²  


The grids are manufactured in the UK using 100% recycled plastic. They feature a modular design that allows for easy connection, creating a robust and porous structure capable of bearing high loads when filled with either grass or gravel. 

 

The order will delivered directly to your door in easy to manage cardboard boxes.

The recycled plastic grids provide a permeable surface that allows water to drain away, reducing the risk of water damage to the shed/outbuilding. This can be especially important in areas with high rainfall or poor drainage. In contrast, slabs and concrete can create a surface that is impermeable to water, which can lead to water pooling around the shed/outbuilding, risking damage. 

 

Plastic grids are lightweight and easy to handle, allowing for convenient transportation and installation. They possess the ability to be resized and fitted around obstacles such as tree roots or uneven ground.
