Description: Brass worm gear which was originally made for use with the early Hornby Turntables (R410, not R070) that use the X03/X04 motor.
You can also use it in a loco with the X03/X04 motor, but you might have to reduce the length of the collar.
This worm gear is 14 mm long and has a diameter of 6.28 mm. The centre hole is as close to 2.4 mm as best as I can tell with an analogue Vernier gauge.
