The attached #2 star tip is designed to fit tuning pins with square heads.  It will fit tuning pins on virtually all pianos except those with extremely small tuning pins. (This is very rare). A great tool for beginning tuners or for those wanting to own a hammer for occasional touch-ups or tuning.  
  • TUNING HAMMER DURABLE DESIGN: The hammer total length is 12 inches and has a curved, 6-1/2" wooden handle for increased comfort and support. Its nickel-plated steel shaft gives the tool added durability, ready for long-standing use.  
  • MUTE KIT INCLUSIONS: We offer the complete set of muting tool kits for piano players to perform piano tuning work. These includes: 
    - 1 set, Temperament strip - 50" long and is tapered from 3/4" down to 1/2" wide
    -2 set, 3" x 3/8" rubber mutes with handles
  • MUTE KIT UNIQUE FUNCTIONS: We make sure that our mute kit is easy to use and perfect tool for tuning your piano works with their unique functions. 

     - The “Temperament Strip” is used to mute off the outside strings and one is enough to tune two octaves at a time.

     - “Rubber Mutes with Handles” the two small mutes with a metal extension handle for the high strings and the four longer mutes for the middle or lower  strings. 

     - ‘’Rubber Mutes’’ the mutes are made of quality rubber for more easily muting the piano section.
