Used as a sub base material for construction, laying a paved or gravel driveway, or for a garden path, MOT Type 1 is a perfect choice.

Supplied in bulk bags, this crushed, carboniferous Limestone is graded 40mm to dust providing a levelling foundation for decorative aggregates and paving to be laid over the top, using a weed membrane in between to supress its growth and help to keep your garden gravel looking its best.

Once laid and compacted, MOT is still permeable, allowing water to pass through helping maintain drainage and is used today for road building, taking it name from the old Ministry of Transport (MOT).

Please be aware that this is a natural product and some variations in size and colour may occur.

Deliveries will be made between 8.00am and 6.00pm Monday to Friday.

Orders placed after 1pm will be dispatched the next working day. Please note that deliveries will be made on a tail lift truck not a crane/hi-ab offload, therefore you will need an area that is flat and free from grass, gravel and uneven paving to enable our hauliers to deliver to you. Please ensure that someone is available to sign on the delivery date and that there is sufficient space to deliver otherwise this may incur a re-delivery charge of at least £35 per pallet. Please see the video below detailing how we offload our goods.
