The gas fire pit valve control assembly kit is suitable for most low pressure system without pilot burner for outdoor fire pit or fireplaces. Max Rating BTU is 50000. The valve is a flame failure valve and have to work with thermocouple together. Operation Instructions 1). Fix the valve on a plate or board of your grill or fire pit by the head screw and flange. 2). Connect your inlet and outlet hose on inlet and outlet side. (faston it tightly enough in case of gas leakage) 3). Faston the thermocouple nut M*8 on the valve end tightly 4). Connect thermocouple and end thread well 5). Open gas by correct size knob and push your valve around 5-10s till the thermocouple head is heated enough. 6). Release your hand and it work properly If when you release hand, gas valve shut off again, Please check a. If your thermocouple is always be heated on flame b. If the thermocouple end is well connect with valve c. If the inlet and outlet side well connect with hose you have Low Pressure Max 65mbar (1/2PSI) safety valve Suitable for gas fire pit, fireplace, or other gas heaters if thread can be connected. The Kits includes; 1 x 24" Thermocoupler 1x Bakelite Knob 6mm insert 1x Gas Valve 3/8" male flare Common parts for a propane fire pit. Valve after turn can not stick during using reason: a. The thermocouple head is not heated in right place, please adjust thermocouple tip position. b. The connection between thermocouple end and valve is not connected tight enough or too tight, please adjust the screw again c.
