Large White Agate Cabochon Statement Ring
A big, calm, handsome ring built around a generous oval cabochon of milky white agate.
The stone is what carries this piece. Translucent creamy white, high-domed and beautifully polished, with soft grey-brown dendritic markings drifting through it like ink in water or branching moss. No two dendritic stones are alike, and the pattern on this one is subtle and rather lovely — it changes character depending on the light.
It's held in a plain smooth bezel, sitting high on a wide, substantial band, with an openwork gallery beneath so the ring doesn't sit heavy on the finger.
Understated in colour but generous in scale — the sort of ring that works with everything and still gets noticed.
Sizing
Measured on a ring stick (see photographs):
Please note this is a fixed-size band and cannot be adjusted.

Metal — please read carefully
The ring is unmarked. I have found no hallmark or purity stamp, so I am not able to describe it as silver or any other precious metal.
The metal is two-tone in appearance: the band and bezel rim show a warm rosy copper colour, while the gallery beneath the stone remains silver-grey. This is clearly visible in the photographs. I cannot say with certainty whether this is intentional mixed-metal work or a silver-tone finish that has worn through to a copper-coloured base metal on the handled surfaces — the latter seems more likely given the pattern of wear. Please buy on the basis of what you can see in the photographs.
Priced accordingly.
Condition
Good used condition. The stone is bright and well polished, with no chips, cracks or scratches, and is firmly seated in its bezel. The band is round and true. Surface wear to the metal as described above and shown in the photographs.
Sold as seen. A gift box is included.
Care
Clean with a soft dry cloth only. Avoid jewellery dips and abrasives, which will accelerate any further loss of the surface finish.
