19th Century Chinese Export Hand Enamelled Birds Flowers Butterflies Celadon Cup. Antique Canton Famille Rose. This is a larger size cup. Please see photos for size. I can always find plenty of plates, but tea cups are becoming harder to find.

Circa 1820, enameled with a bird, flowers, fruit, beetle and butterflies. Has gilded butterfly’s, beetle, rim and base.

Condition is good. Nice ring when tapped on the side even though there is damage on the rim. I believe the damage has always been there. You can see where the gold gilding goes across the area with no hesitation, or differentiation in coloring. The damage on the rim does not appear to be all the way through to the bottom of the spot. In other words, this is not a chip that was glued back on. The base is in good condition. The imperfections on the base have always been there. Please see close-ups.
