AquaHouse 55W UV Ultra Violet Water Filter - 45 Litres Per Minute (10GPM) - UV Water Treatment System
The 55W AquaHouse Ultra Violet UV water filter is ideal for point of entry or point of use applications to sterilise drinking water by killing 99.999% of known bacteria and viruses. The AH-UV55 system is supplied complete with bulb, mounting brackets, transformer, and UK 3 pin plug.
At 45 litres per minute flow rate this system is suitable for use as a whole house UV system to treat water for small/average homes where the flow rate will not exceed 45LPM. Also ideal for private water supplies, well water treatment, bore holes, motor-homes, static homes, and so on. The system is supplied with 3/4" BSP male threads at the input and output, so that it can be easily plumbed in. It is recommended that the UV system is installed after at least a 5 micron filter as sediment particles may shadow microorganisms from the UV light. If you are installing the UV lamp after an existing water filter system you may already have a 5 micron filter, however please consider our "Large UV lamp sediment pre-filter" (reference: AH-UVPRE-BB) if you are installing the lamp on its own.
The UV lamp / bulb used in this system will last for approximately 9000 hours between changes (1 year). The power supply transformer features a visual indicator to show when the bulb has expired / in the rare event of bulb failure, for complete peace of mind.
