Dosage:

• Use Poolife pH Minus to lower pH
• While water is circulating, broadcast widely over the deep end of the pool
• If you would like to pre-dissolve and add pH Minus as a liquid, add the liquid as you walk around the sides of the pool

To Lower pH:

• Try to keep your pH levels between 7.2 – 7.8
• Use this product if pH goes above 7.8
• Proper dosages will vary
• The proper dosage is determined by your current pH
• First, test current pH. Then refer to product label for proper dosage to adjust pH

To Lower Total Alkalinity:

• Add the product in one localized area at the deepest end of the pool: this will create a localized pocket of low pH, which will lower your total alkalinity
• Total alkalinity (TA) should be in the range of 80 – 120 ppm
• Adding 2 lbs. per 10,000 will lower TA by 10 ppm
• Do not exceed 2 lbs. per 10,000 gallons per day: if additional adjustment is needed, add the following day
• Important: Remember, do not broadcast. The key is to add the acid in one isolated area
