This lot consists of a progressive production proof of the 1992-3 Super Star Heroes magazine premiere issue cover, featuring Gordie Howe and Rocket Richard with the exceedingly scarce one-in-twenty gold foil name strip.   You may have to forgive the scan as it doesn't really show the gold foil name band and the gold "Super Star Heroes" logo in the upper left.  The only time I saw these magazines was in Vancouver at a show booth, set up to promote the new magazine, and they sold the gold version for $35, and the silver version for $25. We picked up the production proofs from the publisher a few years later, but unfortunately he had none of the actual magazines.
