We use 10 - 10.5 mm diameter cane. The Innoledy Machine is set to .60 mm in the center and .48 mm on the sides. We send cane that is .58-.60 & .46-.48 on sides. They make the best reeds. We find that it has a deep sweet tone and big quality with finished reeds. Very even pitch. We send straight and slightly smiley pieces. Frowning pieces do not seal. eBay purchases skip the line from website orders.

We are very diligent to send only straight or slightly smiley pieces as they seal better and increase production success. Cane is tested for this via the bark side.
