Here we have a lot of 3 vintage scrapbooks. This is a super cool, large and unique paper lot. All of this originally belonged to MIss Mary Louise Grant, from Fresno California. She attended Fresno High School. The first scrapbook looks to be mostly from WWII era 1940 and 1941, is large and composed of 553 cards, most of which are Christmas cards, Easter cards, New Year cards, Valentines cards and birthday cards. There are also congratulations cards from her wedding, marriage cards, and also newspaper clippings, one of which depicts the marriage of Vesta Grant. The second scrapbook appears to be from 1937, and is about half-full.The third scrapbook looks to also be form 1937, and has roughly 161 cards. This scrapbook contains her 1930 fourth grade report cards from the Lowell School, which is from Fresno Public Schools. There is also something from when she was at Fresno State College in 1939, in addition to get-well cards from when she had surgery. There is also an extra small lot of loose assorted papers. One photo or clipping has a person circled with the inscription "me," as you can see from the last photo. The pages of the scrapbooks may be loose and detatched and/or discolored, as well as some flaking of the paper. Don't hesitate to ask questions.
