It's the worship to Mother Earth and the most popular of Andean beliefs that still survives in the Andean regions of Peru.The Pachamama is a goddess, who is given gifts to ask her sustenance or to apologize. It has got the power to makes crops grow, multiply of cattle , takes care the animals and bless the artisans.

The craft-woman master, works in the traditional art of arpillería to create this lovely wall hanging. Each tiny figure is crafted in three dimensions and lavishly embroidered with recycled fabrics, clay figurines, miniature musical instruments and plant seeds. The letters in the art piece is a Inca greeting, "Ama suwa" translates to don't still, "Ama qella" means don't be lazy, and "Ama llulla" translates to don't be a liar.
