HRC45 Solid Carbide 120° Degree Chamfer End Mill Cutter 1mm-12mm - AlTiN coating
WARNING: Solid carbide chamfer mills are not recommended for manual milling, especially on low rigidity benchtop mills. Being so hard and rigid they are much less forgiving on chatter/backlash compared to HSS or an indexed carbide chamfer. For manual mills please consider INDEXABLE CARBIDE CHAMFER MILLS or HSS CHAMFER MILLS. Mills are ungashed so unsuitable for spot drilling. For spot drilling chamfers please see SOLID CARBIDE SPOT DRILLS. Geometry is optimized for steel cutting, not non-ferrous. AlTiN coating will react with aluminium so not recommended, use uncoated or coatings not including aluminium.
Recommended Spindle Runout - 5 microns or less.
Maximum Runout - 20 microns. Tool lifespan at 20 microns is 80% lower than at 2 microns.
