This pair of wooden Indian clubs or meels which are approx 49.5 cm (19 1/2") in length date from the early 20th century and make unusual decorative pieces.

Indian clubs are a type of exercise equipment used for developing strength. They were swung in certain patterns as part of an exercise program and were popular in the late 1800s and early 20th century.

A wonderful antique sporting collectable and would make very nice home or gym display items.
