Beaphar VETOpure Flea Spot-On Repellent for Cats contains natural plant extracts including margosa and eucalyptus citriodora oil to repel fleas from cats for up to 4 weeks per application. Beaphar VETOpure Flea Spot-On for Cats should be used as part of an effective flea control programme. Fleas will often infest the pet’s basket, bedding and regular resting areas, including carpets and soft furnishings. It is recommended that these areas are treated with a suitable household insecticide, like Beaphar FLEAtec Household Flea Spray, and vacuumed regularly.
Instructions
For continuous protection reapply every 28 days. If your cat becomes excessively wet it may be necessary to reapply earlier. The product can be reapplied after a minimum of seven days. Holding the pipette upright, tap the neck section to ensure the contents fall back into the body of the pipette. Carefully snip off the top of the pipette using scissors, taking care not to squeeze. Part the cat’s fur on the back of the neck where it cannot be reached when grooming and place the tip of the pipette onto the skin. Squeeze the pipette several times to empty its contents completely and directly onto the skin in one spot. Do not apply more than one pipette. Do not massage the drops into the skin. Avoid applying to the fur, if any liquid runs down the fur remove this with a tissue. In multi-cat households, it is important to ensure that cats do not groom the site of application on another animal that has been treated. Keep treated cats separate until the application site has dried. Do not use any other flea control products on your cat during the four-week protection period.
