A rare Anhydrite crystal tumblestone.
Anhydrite and Gypsum (Selenite) are both Calcium Sulphate but Gypsum is hydrous, it has two attached water molecules whereas Anhydrite as it's name suggests is anhydrous and lacks those two water molecules.
Anhydrite is a silver grey to silver blue colour often with a slight internal sparkle. It is a delicate mineral and should not be water cleansed. If it absorbs water it of course becomes hydrous gaining those two water molecules and easily converts to Gypsum.
Distinct crystals of Anhydrite are quite rare and it is more commonly found as huge masses which can be hundreds of feet thick in areas where there were once large bodies of salt water that are long ago evaporated.

Tumblestones are an ideal size to hold during meditation or to be used as pocket stones. Carry them in your bag or pocket or place them under your pillow.
