Dinky SuperToys No. 981 Foden Horse Box.  A lovely original example in deep red maroon. The model is in completely original condition with no touch-up whatsoever. Only new tires have been fitted to the original red metal hubs.  The three (3) original decals, "BRITISH RAILWAYS" are all quite legible as are the decals, "EXPRESS HORSE BOX" and "HIRE SERVICE."  Both the rear and side doors are original and work properly.  The issues with the model are a bit of wear on the high spots as seen in the photos.  In all a beautiful original example of a hard to find issue.

The box is an older proper reproduction used to store the model. It contains both of the correct packing pieces.

In summary, the model displays splendidly and will please any Dinky Toys, Foden or BRITISH RAILWAYS collector.
