HDMI® (High Definition Multimedia Interfaces) is an all-digital interface that the underground electronics industry has developed with the film industry. HDMI transmits digital videos- and multichannel-Audio data lossless and bi-directional without data compression via a 19-pin compact connector with a bandwidth of up to 10.22 Gbps (Max. resolution 4096x2160p). An audio return channel is integrated as well as that Ethernet function with 100Mbps data rate. A universal remote control of all devices connected via HDMI is possible via the integrated AV-link protocol. |
