Bauer Description & Sizing

A Bauer fitting will have either a male connector (including lever clamp) or a female connector which incorporates the ‘o’ ring.

Male and female Bauer fittings are available with hose tail ends, BSP male threaded ends or flanged ends.

Sizing refers to the hose tail, threaded or flanged end of the fitting as detailed below.

Hose Tail Sizing

Bauer hose tail adaptors are manufactured to suit standard imperial hose sizes. The outside diameter of the hose tail should be the same as the inside diameter of the hose.

BSPT Thread Sizing

All male threaded fittings are manufactured to BSPT standards. There is no correlation between the fitting size and its thread diameter.  Approximate thread diameters are detailed below.
