Collodion MKA-3 ist eine leicht zu gießende
Kollodiumlösung. Das Kollodium hat eine zart gelbe Farbe und ist lange haltbar. Die Lichtempfindlichkeit ist jedoch etwas geringer als beim MKA-3 SPEED. Die Formulierung enthält neben
Ethanol und
Diethylether zusätzliche Lösemittel um Verlauf und Trocknung positiv zu
beeinflussen, außerdem enthält es ein Feuchthaltemittel. Gewöhnliche
Kollodiumlösungen trocknen meist sehr schnell, auch bei zügiger
Verarbeitung sind trockene Ecken kaum zu verhindern. Dies ist beim
Collodion MKA-3 nicht der Fall. Gerade bei höheren Temperaturen spielt
die Rezeptur seine Vorteile voll aus. Das Ausgießen ist dank
Tellermündung besonders einfach.

P337 + P313: Bei anhaltender Augenreizung: Ärztlichen Rat
einholen/ärztliche Hilfe hinzuziehen.
P403 + P235: An einem gut belüfteten Ort aufbewahren. Kühl halten.

Important note:
A maximum of 20x 25ml Collodion (UN 1263) can be shipped worldwide by
air cargo according to the Excepted Quantity E2 regulation. The
Collodion Master Set can only be shipped within Europe, as Kapon
Varnish and Gilsonite Black may not be transported by air cargo (no
shipping of spray cans with UN 1950). Also islands cannot be delivered.
However, shipping costs are to
be inquired before purchase.

Collodion MKA-3 is an easy-to-pour collodion solution. The collodion has a light yellow colour and a long shelf life. However, it is slightly less light-sensitive than MKA-3 SPEED.. In addition to ethanol and
diethyl ether, the formulation
contains additional solvents to positively influence flow and drying,
and it also contains a humectant. Ordinary collodion solutions usually
dry very quickly, and dry corners can hardly be prevented even with
rapid processing. This is not the case with Collodion MKA-3. Especially
at higher temperatures, the formulation shows its advantages to the
best. Pouring is particularly easy thanks to the plate mouth.
