Up for your consideration is this wonderful vintage 1939 Hammersley bone china cream and sugar set in a beautiful gold floral on white basket weave background with gold trim.  The creamer measures 2 1/2" wide x 3 3/4" long x 2 1/2" tall and the sugar bowl measures 3" wide x 4 1/4" long x 2" tall.  All measurements are approximate.  I believe this set are replacement pieces for a strawberry basket of the same pattern but could be used by themselves. Excellent condition - there are no chips, cracks, crazing or restoration, with gilt also in excellent condition.  Stamped in green - Bone China - basket of acorns - HAMMERSLEY & CO - Made in England.  All items are sold as pre-owned.
