A Super Looking Vintage Wooden Sledge

A well made piece in pine with slatted seat

The runners extend towards the top and have a rope attached

The under bars are finished with metal for maximum sliding !

I think this is around 1950’s

A really nice looking sleigh that would look superb on a ski lodge / hotel / pub/ restaurant wall etc or could definitely be used again

Length - 91 cm

Depth - 38 cm

Seat height - 12 cm

Items to note

As with all items of age they may show signs of ware and use but they can also have character that you will not always find in newer pieces

On one bar there are a few aged woodworm holes , this is long gone but I’ve treated it just in case ( see photo )

The sledge is in good order overall , it has been used but is still very solid ( see photos )

It’s a bit weathered but still looks great

Overall a super looking sleigh

The pokes are located near Beauly in the Highlands and can be viewed and collected from here or I have a good courier that can deliver anywhere within mainland UK for £ 20
