The rarest out of all the NPA annually dated folders.

When polymer technology was introduced to Australia's circulating currency between 1988 and 1996, world-wide demand for Australian notes sky-rocketed. Note Printing Australia (NPA) introduced a range of collector products featuring the last of the old paper notes and the first of the new polymer notes, and these were hugely popular.

One of the most enduring products released by NPA between 1992 and 1999 was the annually dated sets - they included one of each of the polymer notes printed in the year of issue, were only ever issued in limited numbers and was in fact the only product that was consistent over the entire 7 years.

The deluxe folders are popular with collectors that are interested in getting notes that have the serials with the same colour as those issued for circulation - really important for collectors looking to build a complete set of polymer notes by type, year and prefix.

The 1999 Deluxe Annually Dated Set was the rarest of all of the note sets issued, many believe that far less than the stated mintage of 1,200 were ever released.
