VINTAGE ART DECO STYLE LAUSITZER CRYSTAL PERFUME BOTTLE

Made by Lausitzer Glass in the Lausitz Forests of the German Democratic Republic
(GDR) prior to German Reunification

Mouth blown - hand cut 24% leaded crystal

Measures 9 inches x 4 inches x 2.5 inches

Weighs 19 oz

Bottle has no stains and no scratches.

Note some flaws exist:

I can see numerous fleabites by using a jeweler's loupe, but these can not be seen without magnification and can not be felt with the fingertip.  Some are very slightly felt by running the tip of the fingernail along the edges.

The bottle looks slightly asymmetrical at the widest part of the base.  Because the ends are perfectly flat-cut and beveled, I believe it was manufactured this way.  See next to last photo.  (Actually can be seen in most of the photos if you are looking for it.)

There is one chip on the underside of one end of the top of the bottle.  See last photo.  It can not be seen without magnification and can not be felt with the fingertip.

I do not think the flaws detract from the beauty and drama of the bottle, but make your own assessment from the photos.  Ask for additional description or photos if you have doubts.

The frosted glass on the stopper has signs of wear - see photo.

If returned, Buyer will pay for postage and original postage will not be refunded.  If I have inadvertently misrepresented anything, I will pay for the return postage and reimburse the total purchase price.  Read the description closely and evaluate the photos thoroughly.  I have described and shown the flaws to an extent that a Buyer should not be disappointed.
