this is a good used 1600 cc type 3 engine ........only the engine ......not the transmission , no starter etc

from a know good and running when removed . it is a apx 1972 vw type 3 . this engine can fit is a 1967-1974 vw type 3 fastback or square back

we would like to sell this to a local customer who comes to our shop and can fully evaluate the engine and test it to his hearts desires . this is a used engine for a 40 year old car , some of ebay buyers are unrealistic or ???? that is why it is sold local pick up only . we don't want to ship this to Californian just to have someone look at it there are vw shops in our are who at your expense can come and look at this for you at your expense if you want .

the engine and the transmission were separated 2 years ago , the flex plate was sold . today it sits on the shelf without a flex plate and without a flywheel .. a flywheel of any kind is not included

this engine was in the car driven daily by a vw shop owner untill he was hit by another car .. he closed his shop . we purchased everything he had including this engine
