Description:
R3 is a new easy-to-use open-source controller launched in 2012.
Compared with uno, there is no big change in hardware.
The big difference lies in the circuit part of USB to serial port, which is replaced by an atmega16u2 single chip microcomputer, so the cost is also different.
The software part is the same as before, and there is no big change.

Function:
1. Pin change: two I2C pins (SDA and SCL, only copy of analog 4 and 5, not additional I2C interface) are added beside aref pin,
   In addition, two pins are added next to reset.  One is ioref, which allows the expansion board to adapt to the on-board voltage.
This pin only tells the current on-board voltage of the expansion board (for example, uno is 5V, which can be regarded as the copy of the power supply pin, and does not provide level pull-up).
The other is the standby pin.
2. More stable reset circuit. The reset key position has also changed, and it has been moved to the corner of the board near the USB interface, which is more convenient to press.
3. Atmega16u2 replaces 8u2, which doesn't mean that R3 with 16K flash can make your code run faster. This update is served by USB interface chip.
Theoretically, it allows uno to simulate USB HID, such as   MIDI/Joystick/Keyboard.

Performance description:
Digital I / O digital input / output 0 ~ 13.
Analog I / O Analog Input / output 0 ~ 5.
Support ISP download function.
Input voltage: no external power supply is needed when the computer is connected to USB, external power supply is 5V ~ 9V DC voltage input.
Output voltage: 5V DC voltage output and 3.3V DC voltage output. ATMEL atmega328 microcontroller is adopted.
