I discover old maps, restore them, then hand color them and re-distress them. Their original conditions are in most case black and white (they may have smears, creases or tears, or a solid block of one color all of which I remove digitally). I educate collectors about the origins of the map and I include a historical statement with each map. The original paintings are starchy and wrinkled, a delight to behold.

I turn forgotten masterpieces into truly fascinating livingroom centerpieces. I have a beautiful Montana/Northwest collection of maps, as well as a healthy collection of Mississippi and Missouri River maps. I also have some glorious international destinations. I have over 40 maps in my collections, many of which are original paintings.

I use watercolor, pastel, and magic on acid free paper.
