Please note the shape of the threaded shaft in the photo.  It has two diameters, one being smaller than the other.  The knob fits onto the smaller diameter portion of the shaft.  If the shaft on your saw does not look like the picture then the knob WILL NOT FIT.

For sale is a miter lock knob for a Ryobi TSS100L 10 inch Sliding Compound Miter Saw.  This knob will NOT fit the Ryobi TSS101L, so please be sure to check your model number.  This knob is NOT an original part.  The original Ryobi part is no longer in production. This is a custom printed part that is designed to replace the original Ryobi TSS100L miter lock knob. Prior to installing this knob be sure that the original round "nut" is removed from the threaded shaft.  

It seems that a small number of saws were made with a rod that has a non standard thread size so please check that the thread on the end of the rod is an M8 1.25 (take the rod to a hardware store and try screwing on an M8 1.25 nut) and the exposed shaft must be at least 18mm long to ensure the knob will fit.  Please note that the actual color may vary and may be black, gray or orange.
