Dinky Toys (France) No. 589 Berliet GAK Crash truck Code 3.  Another interesting model from my collection.  One of the, "cooperation" models, where parts of both French & British models were used together.  In this case the Berliet GAK cab was fitted to the Dinky No. 434 Crash truck.  The model is in outstanding fully restored condition with many original parts such as the steering wheel, interior, windows, winding mechanism and roof beacon.  It does have a few reproduction replacement parts such as the decals, tow hook & string.  All of the tires (including the spare) have been replaced with proper new tires.  The only issue with the model is one chip on the cab (separate photo) and it displays beautifully.  All in all a superb example that displays extremely well. 

The box is a proper older (15+ years) reproduction used to store the model. 

In summary a splendid opportunity to acquire a superb example of a rare French Dinky Toy for your collection.  This model will delight any collector.

A note about Code 3 models.  There seems to be some confusion about what constitutes a code 3 versus a re-issue.  Code 3 models are original models, many produced well over a half-century ago that have been meticulously restored to their original standards or better.  They are not copies of these same models mass produced in Asian factories today.
