• Alan Vegas 70th Birthday Limited Edition 10"EP from 2008 features Dream Baby Dream live from Bruce Springsteen in 2005, which 9 years later he released a studio version on High Hopes. We got a weird piece here. Clearly collectable based on Bruces Springsteens Suicide cover of Dream Baby Dream, originally titled, Keep Your Dreams, released on Suicides 1977 debut, this live keyboard version closed most of the shows of the Dust Devils solo tour in 2005 where this recording is supposedly from. Though its authenticity has been questioned online. With the B side starting with Suicides(Alan Vegas band) live version coming from The Cars NBC Midnight Special from September 28th,1979 which was also previously unreleased and the last track, Mr Ray by Beat The Devil the odd man out against the 2 powerhouses. Put together by Alan with help of Jon Landau. It seems Beat The Devil are friends and Brooklyn neighbors of Alan from back in the day. Being the first in a series that put a national acts Suicide cover with a live Suicide version and then a track from an upcoming act the series went from 2008 to 2010. This first pressing numbered 2557 of 4000 had a second pressing from 4001 thru 8000 the following year. The cover art used with permission is a Robert Maplethorpe piece. This cover has some indentation damage on the front top left. Everything else including vinyl is minty. Shipped with USPS Media Mail. Thanks for looking and Happy Trails! Love Your Vinyl!
