Superb work rarely seen in this genre. Includes the MADE IN JAPAN Rising Sun emblem. Emblem and Made in Japan text is moulded or drop forged ie. not a stamp.

Note the photo looking down the neck of the vase. The base has two slightly squared off sections indicating that they were used in some mechanism producing great force.
