Original Xbox HD Component Cable w/ Analog Audio - Modded
This cable has been redesigned and modded from it's original
purpose to work with the Original Xbox and tested thoroughly. These are
made with a genuine Xbox 360 composite/component cable and a brand new
Original Xbox AV plug. Microsoft uséd high quality, double shielded,
cable for the Xbox 360. These cables are a very economical way of
getting high quality image and sound out of your OG Xbox due to the OEM
options being about double in cost, on average.
- Experience & Quality Control
I
have 6+ years of experience making cables for this system with over
3,000 confirmed sales and 100% customer satisfaction. I hand make these
cables myself and guarantee no defects. I only use the best condition
cables
that come in. If they have any major defects they go in the scrap bin
during "check in" when I test them on an Xbox 360. I guarantee top notch
quality and durability. I spend over an hour making & testing each
cable. Nobody else that makes these cables have the amount
of inventory or experience making these that I have. Because this is a
custom made item, that anybody with an iron can attempt, beware of low
experienced makers of this mod that do not show what their work looks
like or show tacky looking work. Poor craftsmanship = poor performance
and unreliability. My pics and feedback speak for themselves. - What are these?
They
are a direct wired connection between the Original Xbox's motherboard
and your TV/receiver with no circuitry between the devices. They are
wired in the same configuration as the OEM component cable or HD AV
packs so they operate the same as the OEM options. They are shielded to
prevent any EMF interference from degrading the signal to ensure the
highest quality delivery from your Original Xbox to your TV and/or
Stereo. It supports all resolutions that the Xbox will produce
(480i/480p/720p/1080i) with no mods necessary to your Original Xbox.
It's completely "Plug & Play." - Refurbish
I
clean these cables as best as I can by wiping them down with a rag and
isopropyl alcohol. I also buff the RCA plugs when necessary. Please
remember that these cables are used and 15-20+ years old so they may
show signs of age but rest assured they are tested several times before
listing for quality functionality and durability. - Testing & Assembly
These
cables are tested at every stage of production from start to finish. I
check them in by testing them on an Xbox 360 for functionality. I then
visually inspect them for insulation tears, animal chew, corrosion, and
other unacceptable damage. I then cut the Xbox 360 plug off and and
scrub them clean. I then solder the cable to a brand new (3rd party)
Original Xbox plug. The solder work is then visually inspected and then
the cable is tested on an Original Xbox for functionality. After a
successful test, the work area is completely sealed (just like Monster)
with high temp hot glue to ensure high durability and longevity of the
work. They are then assembled and a final test is performed to ensure
they are functional in their solid and sealed state. - Stock Xbox Owners
If
you're running a stock Xbox the dash will boot to 480i by default. If
your TV/receiver isn't compatible with 480i (interlaced) it will not
give an image. To fix this compatibility issue plug the green line (Y)
into the Yellow (composite) input on your TV/receiver and switch your
TV/receiver to composite. Unplug the red (pr) and blue (pb) lines if
they're plugged in. it will give you a black and white image of the
dash. Go into your video settings and activate widescreen, 480p, 720p,
and 1080i in the Xbox. Then while holding both triggers, click both
joysticks at the same time. This command switches the dash between 480i
and 480p, It will set the dash to 480p and the screen might or might not
scramble. Now plug the green (Y) line back into the Y input on your
TV/receiver, along with the red (PR) and the blue (PB) lines and switch
the TV/receiver back to component. Now you're in 480p on the dash. This
setting will save for booting in the future as long as the memory in the
box holds out. If you unplug the Xbox for an extended period of time
(or if your clock capacitor is bad) you might have to do this again as
it will default back to 480i on boot up when it loses its memory. This
will solve most compatibility issues with a stock Xbox on TV/receivers
that won't do an interlaced signal through component. - Modded Xbox Owners
No
need to worry about anything here, you know what you're doing with
resolutions, and you know what this cable is. You've either seen them in
the communities, seen a video on how to make them on YouTube, or had
somebody recommend you here. They work great on any modded dash! If you
have any questions, send me a message and we can chat. - Returns & Compatibility Issues
These
cables are highly tested and guaranteed to work. If they don't work
then the problem isn't the cable but rather your equipment. They are
wired in the same configuration as the OEM component cable or HD AV
packs so they operate the same as the OEM options. Due to the limitless
different mods for the Original Xbox itself, stereo receivers, sound
bars, TV's (LCD, LED, CRT, etc.), component to HDMI upscalers,
converters, and other equipment out there, I do not accept return on
this cable due to incompatibility between your devices under eBay's "doesn't work or defective" marker. It's your responsibility to make sure that your Xbox will function with your
equipment in this configuration. If you are having problems getting it
to work correctly for you, please send me a message with pics of the
cable and your TV's model number to discuss the problems you're having
with it. I am happy to help research with you, help to identify issues,
and troubleshoot. All "doesn't work or defective" cases opened will be
challenged as I'm 100% sure that it is not defective and 100% positive
that your claim to eBay is false. If you must return it because it just
doesn't fit your needs or you cant figure out the compatibility between your
devices, I will take the cable back for a refund (if received in the
same condition as when it left) however YOU will be responsible to cover
ALL shipping cost. I've never returned a cable that I didn't test upon
receiving and then resold within the next week with no complaints from
the next buyer. I know the cables that go out are good, and so do
countless happy customers. I recommend that you have an understanding of
resolutions on this console and your equipment before buying. if you're
unsure of compatibility please don't buy this until you talk to me
first. Don't rush to purchase if you're unsure because of low inventory
count. I buy lots of these cables all the time and can ALWAYS make more.
Don't purchase this 480i/480p/720p/1080i cable for your 240p CRT TV and
then tell me its defective. Common CRT definitions are 240p/480i
through component. Research your TV's model number and find out what
definitions its capable of because if you don't research it, ebay
customer support will when I challenge your false claim and you will get
stuck with the purchase. I've fought false claims before and win them
every time. I'm willing to work with you but if I have to fight a claim I
will not return the cable for you. I have shared my wiring diagram and I
welcome you to continuity test the pins yourself. - Best Quality for The Best Price
This
is a very high quality way of hooking an Original Xbox up in HD. The
lower priced component options aren't shielded and can produce a very
distorted image (See pic.) Samsung 4k TV's are known to flicker the
image on and off screen with these cables. That goes double for the
commercially available HDMI solutions as well (Pound, Hyperkin, Kaico,
& Myriann), they aren't properly shielded and can produce visual
distortion. Shielded component is the best plug and play way to get the
absolute highest quality video out of this console. - Feedback
Check my feedback on Original Xbox cables, it speaks for itself. 100% customer satisfaction!!! - Other OG Xbox Cables
I
make cables in multiple different configurations for OG Xbox. There are
3 different styles of audio that I can wire up; Coaxial (Digital),
Toslink (Digital), and Right & Left Analog. I also use different OEM
and other high end shielded cable. Please be sure to check out my other
cables.
Please feel free to send me a message if you have any questions. Thanks for looking!!!
