We are offering a Nelson McCoy Sanitary Stoneware (Early McCoy) 4 3/4 inch tall Green Mug. This mug was produced shortly after the breakup of the American Clay Products Company(ACPC) breakup meaning after 1926. The US government forces the 11 companies that were part of ACPC to disband. The McCoy company began to mark their products. This was one of their early markings. The '4' would refer to the size of the piece.
This piece resembles a barrel. The mug was repaired at some time in the past. I have included images of that area.
