a Transatlantique French Line Ocean LinerWonderful French Line luncheon menu from June 16, 1939
The menu is a large single-fold sheet with a picture of an old Calvary monument in Brittany on the cover.
The ocean liner "Champlain" was sunk when it struck a mine in 1940, just a year after the menu was used. It was one of the first liners sunk in World War II.
The menu measures 9 inches wide and 11 3/4 inches long when closed.The menu is in excellent condition with almost no wear.
This menu would make a great addition to your collection.
