It is marked with a “Bancroft” logo in excellent condition and black "Players Special" trademark logo in excellent condition on both sides of the throat. 

Marked "Designed by Ralph V. Sawyer for Tournament Players" on the shaft with scratch.

Marked "Bamboo - Ash Laminated Frame" on the bow. 

The inside of the throat is marked L-1.

Marked "Registration No. P6460" on the shaft.

Black and red wrappings in eight places in excellent condition.

The original vintage nylon strings are in place with one broken main string. 

The frame has a beautiful finish with minimal chips and scratches.  The original leather grip is in place, but slightly worn and the "B" butt cap is in place.  The head has a nice oval shape with a square profile.
