ANTIQUE VICTORIAN VELVET & PAPER BOOK-SHAPED BOX GIFT JEWELRY TRINKET 1870-1880

Velvet covered book-shaped box. Velvet has faded over the years.

On the top is a paper applique stating "My heart is thine." on a card in the middle of a bouquet of pink roses being held by a man's hand.

Inside is a picture of a Victorian lady on the inner top of the box.

The box bottom is a bit worn from wear where a couple of special pieces of jewelry were kept for many years.

This dates from 1870-1880.

Great for gifting a very special piece of jewelry

Stored in a pet and smoke free home
