New sealed vinyl. Sueño Stereo is the seventh and last studio album by the Argentine rock band Soda Stereo, released in 1995. It was recorded in Supersonico, Buenos Aires by Eduardo Bergallo and mixed in Matrix, London by Clive Goddard and Bergallo. Among other specialized media, Rolling Stone considered it the fourth best album in the history of rock in Spanish, above the mythical Animal Song.
In just fifteen days of sales in Latin America, the album won a double platinum record. The album was the hub of the extensive Stereo Dream Tour they did for Venezuela, Colombia, Peru, Chile, Honduras, Panama, Costa Rica, Mexico and the United States, which began on September 8, 1995 in Buenos Aires, extending to April 24. 1996 in Santiago, Chile.
The video for "Ella uso mi cabeza como un revolver", directed by Argentine Stanley and filmed in Santiago, Chile, was the winner of the People's MTV Award in 1996, then the only MTV award for Latin music.
Due to the success of this album and being also the last studio album of the band, for much of the public and critics, Soda Stereo dissolved at the peak of its creativity (musically speaking), since the album served to ratify the amazing state of the music band as one of the most influential in the history of rock in Spanish, but it can also change into one of the most relevant in its mythical career.
