The CM4000 is available in 16, 32 and 48 port models that allow for cost effective remote connectivity to RS232 serial console ports. The CM4000 is embedded with a web based AJAX terminal, advanced monitoring, pattern-match alerting and event notification help reduce downtime and expedite problem resolution. Powered by a robust Linux core, the CM4000 open standards platform enables users to embed custom scripts, custom alerts and embed security agents.
The CM4000 family of advanced console servers are built with security in mind, features such as built-in enterprise class firewall, SSH v2, SSLv3 protocols, RADIUS, SecureID, IP Filtering and per port access list to give greater control over security of vital IT assets in the data center.
