Ahoy! All aboard the good ship Sportmax. For SS20 Creative Director Grazia Malagoli and her team took inspiration from the concept of sails: their triangular shape and the ropes used to manipulate them, as evidenced in the Xiria dress. Doused in stripes in differing directions and hues, its constructs to an asymmetrically A-line silhouette that’s belted at the waist. Styling-wise we’d recommended wedges to fully realise this fantasy.
Light yet bold. This brilliantly graphic wrap skirt showcases a striking stripe print of multiple contrasting tones and directions, for a kaleidoscopic hit. The high-waisted construction has a wrap over front, with side slits for enhanced shape and flow. A matching fabric belt threads through the skirt, fastening at the left side by double D-ring buckles. The asymmetric-cut hem features sharp, pointed corners that enhance the rippled handkerchief effect.
