This is for an original full ticket from the August 17 1999 game between the Baltimore Orioles and Minnesota Twins which was held at Camden Yards in Baltimore Maryland. On this day, Jesse Orosco would pitch 1/3 of an inning earning a hold in the Orioles 8-3 victory over the Twins. Of greater importance, Orosco would break the tie with Dennis Eckersley at 1,071 by appearing in his 1,072 game on his way to a Major League record 1,252 game appearances. The record just might be on the same plateau as Ripken’s Ironman streak and Johnny VanderMeer’s consecutive no hit games as I seriously doubt that no one will ever come close to the record.
