DESCRIPTION

White Moon Flower - Ipomoea alba 

Ipomoea alba, commonly called the Tropical White Morning-glory or Moon flower, Moon vine or in Thai: Chom-jan.  It is a species of night-blooming morning glory, native to tropical and subtropical regions.  It is class as an ornamental plants, but in colder areas grown as annual plants.

Plant produces large white flower that are round similar to the moon shape, the flower opens during the late afternoon with an amazing sweet fragrance that last through the night until touched by the morning Sun.  It has a heart-shaped, green leaves appearance, unlike all other morning-glory leaves (long or spear shape).  

People of Thailand commonly use the flower buds for cooking like stir-fried, steamed or add them in an omelette.  If you don't know this plant well, please do not consume in any circumstances.

Plant has the ability to climb all over, it can be propagated from seeds or by cuttings from the original plant.  Planting using seeds requires seedling to grow first then transplanting the seedlings when they are about 20-25 days old.

Plants will produce the first budding flower at the age of 90 days (after transplanting seedlings) and will continue to flower for the next 2 months. 

Plants prefers a shady spot away from hot winds where it gets protection from the hot afternoon sun.  It can be planted in a large pot or a large container (with only one seedling planted), plant will require somewhere for it to climb like a trellis or fence.

·   We ship orders to the address given by the customer, please let us know as soon as possible if the address is incorrect.  Once your order is sent, we can not redirect your item to a new location.  Please get in touch with your Post Officer to notify them to redirect to your current address.  If your item return to us due to an unclaimed reason, we will notify you and will refund you for the item purchased.


RETURN AND REFUND DETAILS

·       Item must be returned within 30 days of purchase.

·       Buyer is responsible for return postage costs.

·       Items must be in their original packaging (un-opened) and in the same condition as when received.  

·       If your order did a return due to an unclaimed reason, we will notify you and we will refund you for the item but not for the postage costs.
