How To Use
Please note that this product might need vigorous shaking to loosen, as iron sulphate naturally tends to compact. To address this, some producers add large quantities of non-soluble anti-caking agents to keep the product dry, this might leave sediment in your sprayer and block nozzles.
Our product contains a minimal amount of a soluble anti-caking agent to help minimize compaction, though some compaction is still expected. The product you receive will be compacted and contain less anti-caking agent, ensuring you get a higher concentration of Iron Sulphate.
It's important to recognize that this is different from iron that has absorbed moisture and hardened. Our product will break apart easily with some shaking and dissolve completely in water, leaving no residue.
For best results, apply just before rain is forecast. This will ensure the powder is thoroughly watered down into your soil.
Grass Greening: Use 1-2g iron sulphate per 1L water. Use 1L of this solution per square metre of turf. Apply this solution to your lawn using a pump sprayer or watering can. Water down thoroughly using fresh water.
Turf Hardening: Use 2-3g iron sulphate per 1L water. Use 1L of this solution per square metre of turf. Apply this solution to your lawn using a pump sprayer or watering can. Water down thoroughly using fresh water.
