Rare Venetian pocket edition of Encyclical Gloriosae Dominae (1748) by Pope Benedict XIV.
In this Apostolic Letter Mary is called “Queen of heaven and earth” and it is stated that the “sovereign King has in some way communicated to her his ruling power.” This document, often referred to as the "Golden Bull", also praises and grants privileges to the Sodality of the Blessed Virgin Mary.
