Compare your alternator with out actual pictures before you place an order. The 160 Amp version of this 145 Amp alternator looks very similar and they will mount up the same, but the 145 Amp version does not have the capacity to replace the 160 Amp version.
The easiest place to see the difference is with the Thru Bolts that hold the two halves of the Alternator together. The low Amp version has standard looking bolts, but the high amp version has indentions in the bolt.
The alternator includes a serpentine pulley. We are selling this unit outright so a core exchange is not needed. This unit has been bench tested using a D&V test bench and carries a 2 year warranty. As with all alternators, please make sure to install this unit in a vehicle which has a fully charged and load-tested battery. Also, please check all of the electrical connections related to the alternator to verify that there are no frayed or corroded cables, poor battery terminal clamps, or any loose or corroded connections in the system. Units which have been damaged due to negligence on the part of the installer are not covered under warranty.
