Made by Hines of Oxford, fine quality cotton jacquard woven tapestry cushion inspired by William Morris's Tree of Life design on one side and beige velvet on the other side. 
Has a concealed zip-fastener and removable feather pad. Weave design on the border has an 'aged' effect. Cushion is well stuffed and has a 'firm' feel rather than a 'squashy' feel.

Measures 33 cm x 33 cm (13" x 13") 

Tapestry fabric is woven in Flanders by master weavers and cushion is Made in England.

The original Tree of Life tapestry was designed by Morris & Co at their works in Merton Abbey in the late nineteenth century. The tapestry was symbolic of the growth and continuity of life and was inspired by the Medieval decorative technique known as Mille Fleurs.
